Our Restorative Dentistry Services Include:
Crowns cover & support a tooth with a large filling when there isn’t enough tooth left. They can be used to attach a bridge, protect a weak tooth from breaking or restore one that’s already broken. A crown, also called a cap, is a good way to cover teeth that are discolored or badly shaped as well, or to cover a dental implant. A crown can make your tooth stronger & improve its appearance.
There are several types of crowns, including porcelain, ceramic, resin & metal alloys. The material used can be altered to match the color of your teeth. Our primary concern is keeping your smile bright & healthy, so ask Dr. Bhatnagar which type is right for you!
Getting a crown takes two steps: First, we prepare the tooth by taking x-rays & pictures to check the surrounding bone & tissue & filing down the tooth to make room for the crown. Then the crown is made & cemented into place.
A crown acts the same way as a tooth, so after your crowns are placed, you should treat it the same way as well. Continue to brush & floss regularly & see your dentist for regular checkups!
The CEREC® System – Crowns in One Visit
With the CEREC System, getting a crown takes only one visit instead of the traditional three. After creating a scan of your mouth using advanced 3D imaging, the CEREC system creates a matched custom crown out of natural ceramic that can be installed immediately. Crowns in one visit means restoring your smile without taking extra time off from work or school.

Bridges are custom oral appliances created by your dentist to replace missing teeth & restore your smile. Bridges are usually made to resemble your natural teeth, but can be made from a variety of materials, including porcelain, alloys or gold. There are several types of bridges that vary in both stability, application & cost. Removable bridges can be removed for cleaning but are not as stable, fixed bridges are cemented to the natural teeth on either side of the missing tooth gap, & implant-supported bridges use an artificial metal tooth root to attach the bridge to the bone of your jaw. Your dentist can recommend which type of bridge is best for you.
Dental implants are small titanium cylinders that are inserted into the jaw, mimicking the root structure of the natural tooth.
A crown is then anchored to the implant that looks, feels & functions like a natural tooth.
Unlike other tooth-replacement options, implants recreate the structure of a natural tooth, can stop bone loss, do not affect adjacent healthy teeth & restore your biting & chewing power.
Dental implants can last a lifetime & will look & feel like your own teeth. Unlike a bridge, which requires that surrounding teeth be ground down, the implant will not affect any other teeth or deteriorate the jawbone. Over time, you gums & jawbone will integrate with the implant, creating a more natural look than with bridges, which can cause gums to recede. Implants are also a secure, comfortable & hassle-free alternative to traditional dentures. Whether you need a single implant or an entire mouthful, the result is both cosmetic & practical, allowing you to eat your favorite foods & smile with confidence again.
If you’re interested in dental implants to replace your missing teeth, the first step is scheduling a consultation visit with our doctors. There are health conditions & risk factors to take into account, so not everyone is an ideal candidate for dental implants. During your consultation, the doctor will review your oral health & clearly explain your best option for restoring your smile.

If you’ve lost teeth from decay, injury or periodontal (gum) disease, dentures are the restorative dentistry solution for you. Whether you need partial or full dentures, they’re essential not only to your aesthetics, but also your oral health. In addition to allowing you to eat as if you had never lost your teeth, dentures protect against facial sagging that would otherwise occur & give you a more aged appearance. Dentures will also promote your natural speech. Denture maintenance combined with a regular regimen of proper brushing can guarantee you’ll lead a more comfortable, healthy life.
Please call BellaVista DentalCare today to discuss if dentures are the right option for you!
At BellaVista DentalCare, we believe that the overall health & peace of mind of our patients always comes first. Accordingly, at our office we have elected only to use new & advanced tooth fillings made of tooth-colored materials. We are able to offer you subtle, flattering options for fillings. Our tooth-colored or white tooth fillings are essentially indistinguishable from your natural teeth.
Tooth-colored material is made of durable resin or porcelain & can be used both as fillings & to repair defects in the teeth. Tooth-colored fillings are often used on the front teeth where a natural appearance is important. They can be used on the back teeth as well, depending on the location & extent of the tooth decay.
While our biggest concern is the health & function of your teeth, we are proud to offer tooth filling options that do not affect the aesthetics of your smile.
Inlays & Onlays with the CEREC® System
Porcelain inlays & onlays are an excellent & conservative solution to cavity pain, reduced chewing strength & general degeneration of the back teeth. Virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth, inlays & onlays discreetly restore teeth to an optimal state of health. They resemble natural teeth so closely that only you will know the truth. And now with the CEREC system, we can complete same-day inlays & onlays, avoiding the need to use temporaries, which can break, crack or simply fall off, making it even easier on your schedule.
Root Canal Therapy
A root canal is a small channel inside your tooth that provides the tooth with nutrients. If it becomes inflamed due to injury or infection, you will experience pain & may even lose the tooth. At BellaVista DentalCare, we can remedy the problem & restore the damaged tooth, while ensuring that you are as comfortable as possible during the entire procedure. Nowadays, thanks to modern dental advances & technology, root canals are relatively pain-free. Think of a root canal procedure as life-saving first aid for your tooth. Don’t suffer needlessly from a toothache! Call us today for an appointment.
